Niroj Maharjan serves as the Executive Director and Treasurer of Pilachhen Community Homestay. He is a dedicated heritage conservation activist with a burning passion for promoting tourism in Nepal. Niroj has spent years advocating for the preservation and promotion of cultural landmarks and homestay tourism in Nepal. His love for his country’s rich heritage fuels his efforts to raise awareness about the importance of conserving these treasures for future generations.
By profession, Niroj is a tour guide and Chinese language lecturer at the Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University. He is also an avid traveler who loves to explore World Heritage Sites around the globe. He has visited approximately 20 World Heritage sites across Austria, China, India, Malaysia, and South Korea, admiring the landmarks of human civilization and natural wonders alike.
